Power Restored From Planned Outage

Grundy Electric Cooperative announced that the system improvements slated for April 30th between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. have been completed. Crews worked diligently to restore power as quickly as possible to Feeder 3 out of the Trenton Substation by 11:30 a.m. (approximately 4 ˝ hours earlier than anticipated). Grundy Electric strives to keep planned outages to a minimum however, in order to perform the work safely, crews were required to interrupt electric service in order to replace two critically important poles which were located immediately outside the Trenton Substation.

PLANNED OUTAGE

Grundy Electric Cooperative has announced a planned outage on Wednesday, April 30,
during the hours of 9:00 AM to 4:00 P.M. This planned outage will affect a small group of members served off of Feeder Three out of the Trenton Substation. Members located west of the Trenton substation on Highway 6, west on Highway 190 and south on W to Coyville will be affected by this planned outage.
Grundy Electric strives to keep planned outages to a minimum, however in order to perform the work safely, crews will be required to interrupt electric service during the hours of 9:00AM to 4:00 PM on April 30th. This interruption of electric service will allow Grundy Electric’s construction crews to replace two critically important poles immediately outside the Trenton Substation.
Grundy asks their members to please accept their apologies for any inconvenience, and wishes to thank its member-owners for their patience as they make these system improvements.
