Grundy Electric Cooperative Sets 69th Annual Meeting

Trenton, Missouri, August 26, 2008 -- Grundy Electric Cooperative will host its 69th Annual Meeting of the Membership on Thursday, September 4th at the South Harrison R-II High School, located in Bethany, Missouri. Registration, dinner, musical entertainment and information booths begin at 4:30 p.m.

The musical entertainment will be presented by “Young Country, LLC” from Laredo, Missouri. Prior to the business meeting, the GEC Community Foundation will award the 4th quarter grants to successful recipients. The business meeting will commence at 6:30 p.m. where member-owners will elect three directors. Barry Hart of the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives will be the special guest speaker.

Bus rides will be available from Trenton and Princeton to transport members to and from the meeting. Members who wish to ride a bus should contact the Cooperative for reservations at 1-800-279-2249 or 359-3941, extension 10.
