Grundy Electric Cooperative Announces New Operations Manager and Safety Director

Trenton, Missouri, September 1, 2009 - Grundy Electric Cooperative announced that J.D. (Jeff) Pash was named Operations Manager effective August 3, 2009. J.D. replaces Allen Berry who was recently named Safety Director.

Pash began his career at Grundy Electric Cooperative August 1, 1988 as an apprentice lineman earning journeyman lineman status and then lead lineman. He was promoted to Line Superintendent in 1997.

J.D. and wife Vickie have been married 33 years and are the parents of five daughters, Jaimie and her husband Lyle, Jackie and her husband Corey, Jessica, Crystal and Chanel. They have 10 grandchildren. J.D. serves on the Trenton R-9 School board, is a 4-H sponsor and summer league girls softball coach. He is a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Trenton and enjoys hunting and fishing with friends and family and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Grundy Electric Cooperative recently named Allen Berry as Safety Director, a shared position created between Grundy Electric Cooperative and Farmers' Electric Cooperative located at Chillicothe, Missouri. Allen has been employed by the Cooperative for 29 years.

Berry was employed by Grundy Electric in September 1980 and has worked as an Apprentice Lineman, Journeyman and Construction Crew Lead Lineman. In January of 1995, Allen accepted the position of Marketing/Energy Management to assist with installation of the Cooperative's automation system. For the past 10 years, Allen has held the position of Operations Manager.

Allen and wife Lynda reside 647 NE 5th Street, Trenton. They are the parents of two children, Katarina and Nathan Gamet and daughter Alexis of Lawton, Oklahoma and Derick and Emmy Berry and son Keegan of Tucson, Arizona. Allen enjoys farming and spending time with his family.
