Grundy Electric Cooperative Refunds over $197,000 in Capital Credits
Trenton, Missouri, November 27, 2009 - Grundy Electric Cooperative’s Board of Directors
authorized the distribution of 197,716.93 in capital credits to member-owners. The board voted during their August meeting to retire twenty-five percent each of the years 1980 and 2008 to the membership.

The capital credit refund checks will be presented to member-owners during the Cooperative’s Holiday Open House events scheduled for December 7-9. The remaining checks will be mailed to those members who are unable to attend the open house events.
Grundy Electric began returning capital credits as part of a general retirement in 1990. GEC has to date, has refunded over $5.9 million in capital credit allocations to current and past members. Capital credits are just another benefit of being a member-owner of Grundy Electric Cooperative.
