2010 Energy Efficiency Program |
Grundy Electric Cooperative has implemented an energy audit program specifically designed for farmers and small rural businesses. This program is designed to identify ways to become more energy efficient. Randy Kinnison, a certified energy consultant,
will conduct the on-site assessment.
The energy audit will include:
- Blower door testing
- Infrared camera analysis
- Detailed energy audit portfolio
- Verify air infiltration
- Recommend energy saving measures
- Recommend potential improvements
The thorough and professional energy audit will be provided for a minimal charge to members and non-members.
Small
commercial businesses or farming operations including homes, farm buildings and grain bin motors, etc. would all be evaluated within the on-site assessment. (Qualifying farms must have 50% of family income from the farming operation.)
We understand that in
today's competitive marketplace, it is important that each and every energy dollar be spent wisely. Thus,
this program was designed to assist farming operations and small rural businesses better manage their energy dollars.
