Ground Source Heat Pump Program

Grundy Electric Cooperative offers a ground source heat pump rebate for qualifying installations. Rebates are available for new home construction and home additions.

• Grundy Electric will provide a $150 per ton rebate to the member for a qualified ground source heat pump installation.
• An energy audit that will determine the heat loss/heat gain must be completed prior to installation of equipment in order to qualify for rebate.
• Rebates are only available for installations by a qualified contractor. (Please confirm that your contractor is on GEC’s “Contractor List” or the equipment will not be rebated.)
• The ground source heat pump must be installed in a permanent facility served by Grundy Electric.
• The unit must be sized to the Cooperative’s specifications.
• The member must participate in GEC’s Energy Management Program.
