Operation Roundup

Operation Roundup is an innovative program designed to allow Grundy Electric members an avenue to contribute to the GEC Community Foundation Inc. The Foundation awards grants to area schools, civic organizations and other eligible entities within the Cooperative’s service territory. This program allows members to participate for only pennies each month. Operation Round Up is a simple way each of us can help ensure our communities continue to thrive.

  • Electric bills will be “rounded up” to the next highest dollar each month.
  • The monthly donation may be as little as a penny or as much as 99 cents.

Participating members will contribute an average of just over $6 per year.

Members are automatically included in the program. However, if the member opts not to participate, or chooses to discontinue contributions at anytime, simply contact our office. The money raised by Operation Round Up will go direct to the GEC Community Foundation, to be dispersed in the form of grants for health care, education, and rural development.
